TERMS OF SALE
STATUTORY WARRANTY OF CONFORMITY
All JP/David products are covered by a statutory warranty of conformity lasting 24 months from
delivery, pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).
The warranty exclusively covers any manufacturing defects or non-conformity of the product with respect to the description provided at the time of purchase.
The customer is required to report any defects within 2 months of discovery.
In the presence of a lack of conformity, the customer has the right, within the limits established by law, to:
- Product repair
- Replacement
- Refund
Exclusions:
- Normal wear and tear due to use
- Damage caused by improper use or incorrect maintenance
- Unauthorized alterations or modifications
- Damage resulting from external factors (water, impacts, chemicals, etc.)
ARTISANAL NATURE OF THE PRODUCT
JP/David footwear is made with artisanal craftsmanship.
Any slight variations in color, texture, or finish of the materials are characteristic of the product and cannot be considered defects of conformity.
DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCT
Should the product present a presumed manufacturing defect or a non-conformity, the customer is
invited to promptly contact customer service at the email address indicated in the Contacts section.
The report must be made within 2 months of discovering the defect, attaching:
- Detailed description of the problem
- Clear photographic documentation of the defect found
JP/David reserves the right to evaluate the report based on the material received.
If the defect is confirmed, the customer will be entitled to the remedies provided by current legislation.
In some cases, the return of the product may be requested for further technical checks.
The exclusions indicated in the “Statutory Warranty of Conformity” section remain valid.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (RETURNS)
The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase, without obligation to provide a reason, within 14 days of
delivery of the product, pursuant to the Consumer Code.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is necessary to send written communication to the email address indicated in the Contacts section.
The product must be returned:
- Intact and unused
- Complete with original packaging
- Free from signs of wear or damage
Shipping costs for the return are borne by the customer.
PRODUCT CARE
JP/David footwear is made with selected materials and artisanal craftsmanship. Proper maintenance contributes to preserving its quality, aesthetics, and durability over time.
It is recommended to:
• Avoid prolonged exposure to rain, humidity, and direct heat sources
• Do not machine wash or use aggressive detergents
• Use specific products for leather or indicated materials care
• Store footwear in a dry place, preferably inside its original packaging
In case of contact with water, it is advisable to let the product dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
Failure to observe the care instructions may compromise the product's characteristics and does not constitute a defect of conformity.
